Representative transformation / fictional company

Multi-department services / Connected business platform

Junction Works Group

Five SaaS tools each solved one problem, but sales, delivery, finance, and management still maintained different versions of the business.

Weekly operating reporting fell from nearly two days to 45 minutes.

  • Five operating locations
  • Approximately 95 office and field users
  • Sales, delivery, support, and finance teams
  • Existing CRM and accounting system retained

The business challenge.

Growth had added software faster than the company had added process ownership. Each department chose a useful product, then spreadsheets appeared in the gaps between them.

  • Accepted sales work was re-entered into delivery tools
  • Customer details differed between the CRM and operations
  • Teams switched between five products and several spreadsheets
  • Management reports used inconsistent definitions
  • No one could see the complete customer journey

The platform.

The first release moved accepted opportunities into a delivery workspace with validation, ownership, and customer context. Shared reporting followed once the definitions were agreed.

  • Sales-to-delivery handover
  • Shared customer and service timeline
  • Operational tasks and approvals
  • Cross-system status synchronization
  • Management dashboards
  • Integration and automation layer

Automation and AI, where useful.

Automation follows a defined workflow. AI prepares, summarizes, or flags work for review when judgment still belongs with a person.

  • Validate accepted work before handover
  • Create delivery records and assigned tasks
  • Synchronize customer and status changes
  • Notify teams when an exception needs attention
  • Compile weekly operating and revenue reports

What changed after launch.

Four departments worked from the same customer and delivery status. Weekly reporting was mostly generated from connected data, and managers reviewed exceptions instead of reconciling every row.

One location still uses a specialist scheduling product. It connects cleanly, so replacing it would add cost without improving the work.

We thought we needed one giant replacement. What we needed was one reliable way for the existing pieces to work together.
